Tips for Riding the Bus

• Pick your destination.
• Review the schedule to find the closest bus stop. Please see our Routes and Schedules page for more details.
• Walk to your bus stop location.
• Arrive 10 minutes early. The times listed on our schedules are departure times, so be sure to be at the designated stop before that time!
• Please have your fare card, monthly pass, or exact change ready when you get on the bus.
• Enjoy your ride!

If you need to set up an Off-Route pickup, call our dispatcher at 304-263-0876, option 1. You should call the day before your trip by 4:30pm. There will be an additional charge of $2.00 for an Off-Route.

Bus Etiquette

• Be early. We recommend that riders get to their stop 10 minutes early. The bus cannot wait on passengers.
• Please have exact change. Drivers do not carry cash. Have your fare card and/or Half-Fare card ready when you board the bus.
• No eating, drinking, vaping or tobacco products allowed on the buses.
• We do not allow any open containers of alcohol on EPTA vehicles.                                         
• Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.
• Only take on the bus what you can carry. Boarding the vehicle multiple times in order to load baggage is not allowed.
• Seat belts must be worn at all times.
• Service animals are allowed on all EPTA buses.
