EPTA, in partnership with HEPMPO, is undergoing a Transit Development Plan (TDP) effort to better utilize existing transit resources and determine ways to expand coverage within and beyond its existing service area in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties over the next five years. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, EPTA has reduced service effective March 26, 2020
In Berkeley County, Routes 35 and 40 will run as published.
In Jefferson County, Route 16 will run from 9:00 am to 5:24 pm and Route 20 will run from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm following the published schedules.
EPTA will not operate on Saturday during this reduction in service.
EPTA will continue to offer Demand Response and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
For passengers that utilize EPTA routes to travel to and from work, please contact 304-263-0876 to reserve a ride from Caperton Station or VA Medical Center. Reservations must be made the day prior by 3pm. For all other inquires, please call 304-263-0876.
